Cycle maintenance class - Haverstock School NW3
This workshop will cover the basics of cycle maintenance. We should be able to cover: checking, cleaning and fitting your bike; removing a wheel and tyre to fix a puncture; adjusting different types of brakes; replacing a brake cable; indexing derailleur type gears; how to use basic bike tools.
There will be a break for lunch (lunch will not be provided).
You will need to bring a cycle to work on. Some tools will be provided but please bring any bike tools you own, as it will be a good opportunity to learn how to use them.
All participants will receive a free multi-tool and puncture repair kit, on completion of the course.
Hosted at Haverstock School, NW3 2BQ. This class is provided for free, but there is a cost to putting them on. Please only book if you can definitely attend, and contact us to cancel if you subsequently can't make the date.
