Level 2 Bikeability – an introduction to road cycling (9-12 years)
A four-day course (4 x 2 hour sessions) for children who can cycle well, but have little or no experience of road cycling. This course begins off road to ensure basic skills have been covered. The training will then move on to local roads, where the children will work on road positioning, junction turns and communication with other road users.
From the autumn term 2019, every school in the City will be offering free Level 2 courses for its year 5 or 6 pupils – please speak to your child’s teachers or contact us to find out about your school’s next course.
If there are no courses listed above, or if all courses are fully booked, please contact us to be added to our waiting list. We will alert you when new course dates are announced.
